Desktop Wallpaper from The Wort Zone

For most of the Wall Papers here I have made two images a larger one that is suited for square monitors and a smaller rectangle that is more the laptops and LCD screens. I have to admit that I have gotten kinda lazy the last few and just posted one size. But it you need a size for your monitor just drop me a line and I will be glad to create the size you require.

By clickiing on the thumbnail or the link you can open the image in your browser (clicking on the thumbnail image opens the large file clicking on the link opens the rectangular image)or you can right click on either and select [save image as] or in some browers [save target as]. If you open the image in your browser you can right click the image and simply select [set as desktop background]

Snoopy Our Hero!

As I said in the blog I would get the snoopy and sopwith camel image posted here for all to down load and use as desktop wall paper.
The images are 1920 X 1080 and should work with most new monitors but as always if you need a different size just E mail us or post a comment in the blog. The first image I updated the colors to be closer to the WWII sopwith camel's real colors flown by Roy Brown who shot down the famous Red Baron on April 21, 1918 the second image is the original that I did and posted in the blog. I did not realize how far off my colors were till I seen a christmas yard decoration with snoopy in a red single wing air plane at Menards. My Sister had spotted it and told me about it knowing how much I liked anything snoopy. I explained to Carla how wrong it was and then she pointed to my desk top. So I had no choice but to improve the colors.

The Platitude of Pets

This fun picture was done in photo shop I only created the one size 1920 X 1080 but this will work on most of todays LCD monitors. The inspiration is from our fish tank and the 3 puffer fish that my wife loves. I find the little buggers haughty and mean but the other fish seem to be doing okay after a rough start.

The wonderful Miss Kattie (KD) This little pup is growing up fast and taking up as much of the bed as she can. I will have more pictures of her for desk top. I only created the one size 1920 X 1080 for this but with a word I can make any size you would require.

Hope is my sisters cat. The Green and gold in her eye is lovely and hunting at the same time.If you put this image as your desk top you will see what I mean. The Image is 1280 x 1024 and will strech to fit most monitors.

Season is or was

I like Moose. It is probably from growing up with Captain Kangaroo and Mr Moose. This moose was inspired by a clay figurine that I created. I did the sketch in pencil and inked it in then scanned it into photoshop a lit color here and there and a bit of filter work and there you have it. This is available in two sizes 1280 X 1024 and 1024 x 768

Mice Christmas was made from a stamped page scanned into photoshop. I like the delicate colors and the warmth of this it makes a nice background that does not hammer MERRY CHRISTMAS at you but celabrates the feeling we want to share during the season. Again I got the two sizes to choise from the 1280 x 1024 by clicking on the picture or the 1024 x 768 by clicking on the link.

Coolest Punkin I ever carved and no mess to clean up. This is a multi layer image created with three photos, mask and and different blending modes on the layers. The Size is 2400 x 1800 which should scale down nicely for most desktops.

Just thoughts on paper

The Dark Tree - The Tree of life is an image that touches me in so many ways. I enjoy Celtic art especially the Trees and knots. This tree is a hand drawn sketch that I did and scanned in. The black on black makes this a nice background for a dark theme. Two sizes available.

I was working on a tutorial to create wood grain letters and found myself working with the tree again.

The bear is Ebinizer or Eb for short. He is the first build-a-bear that I made and has been a cool little friend ever since. He is a very good model to work with and has been the subject of some long studys with my camera and various light sorces. Here he is just laid back enjoying the Day.

Seen this on a shirt and thought is was one of the funniest things I seen in a long time. Excellent wallpaper for your work computer to make someone turn there head.

Company logo for Home Guard Ind. HGI I did this one weekend just as a experiment working with layer properties in Photoshop.

This Series was meant to disturb not scare or frighten just a pernicious disturbing of the mind. Then they got cute and its all down hill from there.

Brain Bug gets into your system by burrowing in your skin. makes his way to your brain and slowly takes over. This is how most serial killers are created. Do you hear the voices?

From the Garden and Around

Can you find the Bug in this. There is a large bug hiding in this. I did not find him till I got this home and blown up full size.

This was for Roberta my wife. She loves frogs and so with an immage of a pond, a sketch and photoshop this was created.
